Why are you here?
Why are you here?
They asked.
What called you here, to Southern Colorado, for a Living Level 1 ISTA training?
The land.
The people.
The work.
I want to be in service of the field.
My gift – a transmission, a transmutation, an embodied experience.
My power – to feel, to crack open, and to stay present with everything.
Because I can.
I am not avoiding pain anymore.
I am here to move.
To breathe.
To feel.
To be a conduit for Life,
letting Her pass through me.
A bridge between worlds and realities –
offering a reflection of Power
as they see themselves in me.
Why are you here?
They asked again –
I am in service, in devotion.
A deep reverence for this work,
for the lineage of shamans and magicians
we are (re)awakening.
Because it is the most important thing
I can do right now.
And also –
because it’s fun.
Why not?
I choose fun.
I choose to find pleasure in the densest and darkest emotions.
To keep breathing in the deepest layers of human drama – not mine anymore, but in the original meaning of sacred theater:
a collective storytelling woven into what postmodern civilization has become,
repeating the same myths and stories over and over again.
Life and death cycles held as a contradiction –
game over,
let’s play again.
My journey into the dark to reach the Soul and integrate paradoxes
can help trace a path for seekers.
And find Beauty –
everywhere.
Why are you here?
Once again.
I am here to experience
Life, Death, Beauty –
and everything in between
and beyond.
